"Hidden Figures" is a powerful deep exploration into a dark but beautiful sonic world. PNFA's album features eleven multi-facetted atmospheric genre bridging electronic music tracks settled somewhere between cinematic Trip Hop beats and deep Downtempo Techno. The pieces are crafted in a narrative composition, with a lot of love for details and technically stunning expertise. On this record PNFA thoughtfully plays with straight forward fast paced electronic beats and mixes them with tense melancholic, but sometimes also ethereal harmonies as well as warped electro acoustic partly exotic lead instruments. Haunting vocals pop up here and there giving the album an epic organic feel despite the massive electronic base. "Hidden Figures" is a cinematic and mind bending experience, intensely rewarding for anyone who is ready to dive into it.
